Frank Bird are a leading wholesale meat supplier in the UK, delivering fresh local poultry to our customers across the UK. Established in the 1950’s, Frank Bird is a family-run business based in Penrith, Cumbria. We are accredited by BRC and Red Tractor Approved, with all our Halal products being certified by Halal Consultations Ltd.
With more than 200 employees working across our sites, we operate six poultry farms across Cumbria and work alongside other independent growers located in Cumbria, North Yorkshire and the Borders.
All our local birds are reared to the highest standards and delivered fresh to our customers directly by our overnight fleet of refrigerated vehicles.

Frank Bird offer a range of products from our own farms and independent growers, all based locally to our processing plant in Penrith, Cumbria. All our products are closely inspected to ensure the highest standards of quality are met and maintained throughout the processing of our chickens.

Frank Bird is a family-run business established in the 1950s by Frank Bird with the aim of raising, processing and delivering fresh chicken across the North of England. Today, Frank Bird is now run by his two sons, Paul and Mark Bird, with a staff of more than 200 employees across our six poultry farms and processing facility.
